Based on the model 831 lounge chair of the same period, the 836 sofa was sold in two- and three-seat versions, as well as in the form of an easy chair without armrests. The legs were made of tubular metal.
The model 836 sofa received a mention at the Compasso d'Oro award in 1955 and has been re-edited by CB2 with the name Meda, is structurally held together by exquisite walnut side panels, the geometry is true to the original—down to the brass snake-eye bolts.
