In 1972, a silversmith company south of Milan commissioned Gianfranco Frattini to design this modern chess set. Reintroduced for a new generation of chess players, it features abstract stainless steel chess pieces that stack within each other, creating two streamlined cylinders for storage. An elegantly simple board designed by Frattini's daughter, Emanuela Frattini Magnusson, sports stainless steel corners and a luxe felt bottom to protect surfaces during gameplay.
